Native American Energy Group is a publicly traded energy resource development & management company with its principal place of business in New York. NAEG specializes in oil, natural gas and small wind power generation systems.
NAEG’s field acquisition team has acquired oil & gas leases, since January 2005, on and around the Fort Peck Indian Reservation, resulting in the Company’s portfolio of historically producing oil wells in the Montana part of the Williston Basin.
In February 2007, Native American Energy Group entered into an exclusive technology and distribution rights agreement (the “Original Windaus Agreement”) for proprietary, vertical axis wind turbines created by Windaus Energy, Inc. of Brantford, Ontario (“Windaus”).
The mission of the NAEG "Tribal Empowerment Program" is to apply social & economic measures, along with advanced technology systems that help tribes progress with energy development, and towards achieving economic independence & prosperity.
